Description:
DB DRAG RACING is the most exciting development in car audio in recent memory. Inspired by the rising popularity of BASS music and a corresponding increase in local and neighborhood outlaw SPL (loudness) contests, WAYNE HARRIS, the founder of DB DRAG RACING, perceived that a large and enthusiastic sector of the car audio community was being ignored by the existing organizational structures.
Wayne is a former car audio champion and is currently a top design engineer at the Rockford corp. He is also a columnist and contributor to the nationally distributed Car Sound magazine, and was thus uniquely poised to exploit this unfolding opportunity.
By combining the high points of both automotive drag racing and outlaw SPL soundoffs, Wayne created DB DRAG RACING, and in one bold move transformed car audio competition into a spectator sport.
DB DRAG RACING events feature competitors booming it out head to head with a specially matched pair of microphones, (one in each car,) monitoring the volume levels. The readings of these microphones are transmitted to a pair of light meter towers adjacent to the judging lanes so everyone can get a visual indication of the respective volume levels. Strategically placed bleachers and large screen T.V. monitors contribute to the visibility of the event and result in a surefire crowd pleaser.
As you can imagine, the popularity of DB DRAG RACING has been growing by leaps and bounds, culminating in the first annual DB DRAG RACING WORLD FINALS on November 14th and 15th in Nashville, Tennessee.
PANDISC has long been recognized as the leader in competitive car audio software (BASS). In fact, PANDISC recording artist the BASS MEKANIK is the most recognized mane among car audio enthusiasts. Other high profile PANDISC artists for the target group include the BEAT DOMINATOR and DJ LAZ. PANDISC is proud to announce an exclusive five-year licensing agreement with DB DRAG RACING to release an annual OFFICIAL DB DRAG RACING COMPETITION DISC. This disc will not only be chock full of prime car rockin' bass cuts but will also contain a test section designed by DB DRAG RACING that will be a compulsory judging material at all regional and national level events.
