Description:
Before Luke was even chirping obscenities, Blowfly, The Godfather of X-rated Rap, was spitting out classic tunes like "I've Got To Be Free" (XXX), "Who Did I Eat Last Night" and "Beggin' For Pussy Medley". Blowfly's humor crosses all cultural and age group boundaries with a solid foundation of funky grooves and hilarious vocals. With the upsurge in interest in classic 70's rap and soul music, Blowfly, along with Rudy Ray Moore, Wild Man Steve, and Moms Mabley defined the black comedy genre of that era. Blowfly parodies of classic songs like the Blues Borther's "Soul Man" becomes Fly's "Hole Man" and takes on a whole new meaning - usually more true than the original. Blowfly's soulful funky tracks are lewd satires at their best and since the early sixties, he has garnered a loyal and broad fan base counting among his fans; rappers, college rockers and club kids. When Blowfly isn't giving his middle finger (his trade mark), he is busy touring around the world.
